A Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science (B.S.A.H.S.), Human Development and Family Studies degree will help students investigate human behavior. Students will study human behavior from two perspectives:
Core courses for this degree will cover topics such as public health, human sexuality, family life, parenting, and more. As students complete their core courses, they can start to focus on specific interests and select an area of study by taking electives in selected fields, including psychology, sociology, social work, criminal justice, or even the biological sciences.
This program will prepare students to work in human and social services. Students will have opportunities to learn outside of the classroom including an internship with faculty supervision.
