A Bachelor of Arts in International Law and Institutions through the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies focuses on the relationship between international law and global governance. This includes examining organizations that hold power and transcend national boundaries.
Students in this major will learn a range of different topics including how the law can be used to solve international challenges such as human rights doctrine, migration, the conduct of war, trade, and development.
This degree will help hone students’ analytical, critical thinking, and writing skills concerning the study of international law while also developing cultural and regional expertise.
Students in this program will also participate in overseas study as part of their major and must engage in an internship or practicum experience.
