Economic Consulting
The Economic Consulting major focuses on training students in forecasting techniques as well as the application of micro- and macroeconomics for use in business analysis. Students will learn about topics such as economic theory, game theory, business econometrics, and predictive analytics. This major is for those interested in future careers in economics as well as the consulting and financial services markets. Students are trained to apply economic theory to business decisions and share forecasts in order to guide corporations, the public, and/or the government.
